Activation Steps

Get your license key

Check your email for the license key from Polar.sh. It will look like: VOLTRUS-SCADA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Download the binary

Download the single static binary for your platform below — Linux or Windows. One file, no installer, no runtime, no Docker.

Activate your license

Export the key as an environment variable before first run: export VOLTRUS_SCADA_LICENSE=VOLTRUS-SCADA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. The binary validates the key on startup — one step, done.

Start monitoring

Run ./voltrus-scada. It reads your YAML config, starts polling connected devices, and serves the dashboard on port 8080. Open a browser to http://your-server:8080.

One license = one deployment. Each license covers a single client site. Deploy on as many machines within that site as needed (primary + standby, dev + prod) — your license keys in for it.
